Our Commitment in Action: Giving Tuesday and Year-Round

Strengthening our team and community is one of our firm’s core values. We demonstrate that by encouraging our team and clients to give back, donate, and volunteer regularly throughout the year. We’re committed to our clients’ financial wellness and the wellness and quality of life of our neighbors and those in need, which can only truly come with access to education and basic resources. It’s a privilege to show our support to several local charitable organizations, volunteers, and community leaders who share those same values and drive that mission forward.

“Giving back is an integral part of our culture at CCMI,” said CCMI Principal Matt Showley, CFP®, AEP®. “We’re happy to see our team members using their time and skills to get involved, making in-kind donations, and volunteering in a variety of causes dear to them, from coaching youth sports and providing meals to homebound seniors to mentoring young leaders.”

With the holidays upon us, we can’t think of a better time to put our core values into action to support others.  Giving Tuesday is on Nov. 30, a global generosity movement that celebrates all acts of giving, and we encourage all to participate in giving generously. In the spirit of giving, our team and several of our clients recently volunteered at The San Diego Food Bank Warehouse, helping sort and package meal resources that support more than half a million people per month in San Diego County.

“It’s fulfilling when we can make a difference together,” said CCMI Principal Brian Matter, CFP®, CPWA®, CEPA. “We’re not only working toward a shared mission of making a positive impact in San Diego but are also enriching our team’s and clients’ connection to what matters most.”
