3 Ways Brian’s New Designation Better Serves Our Clients

2 Jul 2020 by: Brian Matter  , , ,

We are pleased to announce that Brian Matter has a new designation to add to his name. After a series of intensive courses, he earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® certification. This designation reflects a proactive dedication to improving our skills as advisors and providing the very best to our clients.

  1. High-Net Worth Focus

The differentiating aspect of the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® certification is its focus on high-net-worth individuals, including business owners and executives. These are clients who have accumulated wealth over the years and are often in preservation or distribution phase, seeking the best strategies to do so in a way that aligns with their own value base. Over the course of his education for this certification, Brian learned more about strategies to meet the unique needs of this client base and how to serve them well.

      2. Complex Factors

High-net-worth often comes with a host of complexities, including a wide range of income streams and a multitude of tax implications with every decision made. Diving deep into these topics and learning the latest planning techniques, Brian is even more poised to help clients navigate these tricky scenarios in ways that help them achieve their long-term goals with the wealth they have accumulated.

     3. Commitment To Clients

One of the hallmarks of CCMI is continued learning and improvement.  We aren’t content to sit on our laurels. We are constantly looking for ways to better serve our clients. Brian proved this with extensive coursework, various exams during the coursework, and a final certification examination demonstrating proficiency of how to meet the needs of this unique client base. We will continue this commitment to bringing our clients the latest and the best.

Offered through the Investments & Wealth Institute, the CPWA® certification courses were provided through the Yale School of Management and covered a range of topics including behavioral finance, family dynamics, tax planning, asset protection, wealth transfer, and specialty planning for executives and closely held business owners—all focused on serving high-net-worth clients. Congratulations to Brian on this distinguished achievement.
