Smart Investor Behavior

8 Mar 2017 by: jhurley

Investor behavior is one of the key factors in determining the long-term success of a portfolio. A recent Vanguard study found that proper investor behavior far outweighs the benefit of picking the right stock or the right mutual fund. Thus, at CCMI we think good investors need to have discipline and an investment process that they can rely on, so they don’t fall victim to the emotions of the market day-to-day. Additionally, they need to maintain a long-term view rather than a short-term view, so that emotions driven by short term market volatility don’t cause poor investment decisions. Matt Showley, CFP ®, addresses smart investor behavior in this video.
