Sheila Hoopes, CFP®

Advisor

As an advisor at CCMI, Sheila Hoopes, CFP® answers financial planning and investment questions, assists in client discovery meetings, creates financial plans, helps clients implement recommendations, investment research and trading, and assists with client service needs. She joined CCMI in 2019 and works in both a financial planning and investment management capacity. In addition to data analysis and financial plan research and creation, Sheila assists with follow-up and implementation, ensuring clients have the resources they need to succeed.

Originally from north of Boston, Sheila has an undergraduate degree from Smith College and a master’s of international affairs from the University of California, San Diego. 

Before coming to CCMI, Sheila was an analyst in street-side operations, supporting advisors at LPL Financial. 

Sheila is active in the community as a:

  • Member, Financial Planning Association
  • Member, Normal Heights Community Association 
  • Board member, Smith College Club of San Diego 
  • Volunteer tax preparer and quality reviewer, SAY San Diego and Jewish Family Service of San Diego

Sheila, her husband, and her five-year-old daughter love going for long walks and enjoy swimming and camping together. She gets up bright and early every year to help out at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon water station in her Normal Heights neighborhood. And she is always looking for her next favorite podcast.
